Welcome to TeoBishop.com. My name is Teo Bishop, and I’m the author of Bishop In The Grove. I’m also a regular contributor to HuffPost Religion and The Wild Hunt. I see the writing I do online as a kind of ministry, in that it encourages us to look inward, and to be contemplative. My writing is a means of processing through the complicated geography of modern Paganism, and it is also an invitation for others to express their voices, their ideas, and their experiences of what it means to be Pagan, polytheist, or something altogether other from our currently defined identities.

Bishop In The Grove began in the winter of 2010 as a way for me to process through my druidic study program through Ár nDraiocht Fein (ADF). Quickly it evolved into something more than that. The subject matter of the posts drifted into the theoretical, and the work of the blog shifted toward a focus of broader community discussion and dialogue. The engagement of the BITG readership became dynamic and thought-provoking, as it continues to be to this day.

I organize the Solitary Druid Fellowship, an extension of ADF, which provides a shared liturgical practice for solitary Druids and Pagans. The Fellowship is built around the idea that solitude is not a liability, but rather is the staging ground for real, meaningful, even transformative change.
